heading down south...

this past weekend i headed down south to homestead to visit friends... and of course i took my favorite road which goes right through the heart of the everglades...

wanna-be flowers?

you know how sometimes when you look at things you see something else... something not ordinary... something, well, beautiful. today as i was taking plant photos i spied these shrub leaves that were as pretty as any flower.

the past 24 hours it has rained and rained, and then rained some more... till our office was completed flooded...
