florida state park month...

in honor of FLORIDA STATE PARKS MONTH, all state parks were free today. i took that as an opportunity to visit a few near by parks that i never seem to have time for. one of them was the Gamble Mansion in Ellenton. it was there that i spied this awesome sundial with its beautiful words.

heading down south...

this past weekend i headed down south to homestead to visit friends... and of course i took my favorite road which goes right through the heart of the everglades...

this past weekend i spent a few days visiting friends on folly beach (charleston, south carolina)... it was a lovely visit and a beautiful time to hang in charleston.
