natural beauty: fall leaves

as fall turns into winter, colors seem more vibrant than ever. nature's color palette displays itself to the fullest... especially in the bright contrasting leaves.

celebration of golds and browns

to me late fall has a color all its own. this sort of warm golden brown hue that makes you want to sit out on the front porch and take in all the changes around you. it is a time of reflection, a time of family, and a time of thankfulness.

every year for the thanksgiving holiday our family makes the drive to southern georgia and the small town where my mother grew up. it is there that the following photos were taken.

inspiration: cotton clouds...

yesterday's clouds flitted across the sky like rows of puffy cotton... so beautiful... i took some photos to capture them and then continued on with my day... until i received a call from my brother a few hours later telling me i had to check out the sunset. i glanced out the window then ran outside the office... the sky was filled with the most amazing sunset ablaze with orange clouds. i hope you enjoy the photos...
